What I love the most about fashion weeks are the stylish show-goers making their way to view the beautiful collections and the models wearing the latest and greatest running between shows!  Above are a few of my favourites from Couture and Menswear weeks from my favourite street style photographers!

1. Ray-Ban New WayFarers (RB2132), 2. T by Alexander Wang Jersey Racerback Tank (similar), 3. H&M Printed skirt, 4. Zara silver sandals, 5. Michael Kors watch and 6. Club Monaco Linen Clutch (2010).

As soon as I saw my super stylish blogger friend Kirin of ClosetCast sporting this fun printed neoprene-like skirt, I knew I had to hunt it down!  Kirin is the epitome of California-cool and pairs it perfectly with a chambray button up and her to DIE for Balenciaga tube sandals (jealous)!  Kirin is completely on point with comparing this fun print to those of Peter Pilotto and I like how it reminds me of Alexander Wang’s Botanical prints from his Spring 2012 RTW line!

Since it has been so hot here in Vancouver, I thought I’d pair this incredibly comfortable skirt with a simple blue tank and some silver flats I picked up at the Zara summer sale!   Thanks Kirin for helping me find this great summer skirt!

Hedvig of The Northern Light mixes feminine and masculine, high-end and affordable, and plays with volume and prints!  Her style is clean and refreshing and always with a bit of fun!  My favourite outfit is one she assembled for the Editer article “All in the Jeans” –  the Multi-Arrow Stiletto Skinny Jeans by Current/Elliott  mixed with the chunky mint green Acne sweater and silver Alexander Wang sandals!  All images from The Northern Light.

Summer has finally arrived in Vancouver, and that means enjoying one of my favourite summer berries – raspberries!  Rohe lies around the apartment trying to stay cool,  I got a great deal on a new pair of Loeffler Willow mignon knot flats (and Rohe loves shoes nearly as much as I do)!  Ryan and I made Curried Devilled Eggs with a recipe from Vij (super simple and really delicious), Mr. Plow is now living in the tree outside our apartment lobby, and Ryan, his dad and I went to the Central City Summer Cask Festival!  Summer is flying by and it feels as though it just started! Hope you’re enjoying the gorgeous weather!

Ryan and I skytrained to Surrey yesterday for Central City Brewing for their Summer Cask Festival!  We met up with Ryan’s dad Rob, got our tickets and tasting glass and we were ready to taste some great Pacific Northwest beer!  Ryan took some amazing shots, check out his post!  31 breweries from Washington, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland brought kegs of a wide variety of different kinds of beer – from a spicy Chili Stout, to a light and summery Strawberry Green Tea White Ale, to a powerful and aromatic Mead!  Rob treated us to Central City’s famous Pulled Pork sandwiches for dinner which went very well with R&B’s Smoked Hop IPA!  A great afternoon!
