editorial inspiration: soft & sporty

I’ve been digging through my old Vogue collection and came across this editorial called “Pretty Woman” from Vogue US January 2004 (photographed by Craig McDean) that I remember really loving!  I distinctly remembered this shot of Daria Werbowy in a beautifully delicate silky printed pleated Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière dress with this incredibly sharp neoprene Day-Glo neon yellow bra.  I looooved the juxtaposition of the soft silk with the spongy sporty material and the pairing of the creamy pink colour with the bold neon (something we have been seeing a LOT of in the past few years)!

I tried to dig up some soft, flowy shirtdress ideas that could be paired with a line of bras I’ve been eyeing for years by VPL!  Would be fun for spring/summer!

these bras are fantastic! Love the neon color one!

    • I love how super comfy they look, and definitely not your average “run-of-the-mill” sports bra! Mine don’t look this fashionable!

Wow! I could definitely live in those. They are so chic and look so comfortable!

    • I completely agree, Tatiana! Wouldn’t it be a fun way to add some edge and colour to a comfy summer shirtdress? Thanks for your comment!
