tribal treats

editorial inspiration: “mix and match” photographed by rafaela proll for 1st magazine, april 2011, image source –, product photos from their respective linked websites. 1. dannijo “kale” necklace, 2. proenza schouler patterned bouclé-tweed dress, 3. alexander wang zip-detailed square-frame acetate sunglasses, 4. prada intense deluxe eau de parfum, 5. dries van noten vintage effect bracelet, 6. proenza schouler PS11 textured-leather clutch, 7. thakoon huarache woven sandal.

i had never been a fan of tribal prints until this season. i feel as though they are being used in such chic designs, designs that every woman would want to wear and feel fresh and current.  the tribal-inspired jewelry is heavy, but not overbearing and the accessories have a subtle tribal texture that adds dimension, but doesn’t overwhelm the overall look of the outfit! i’d love to have any (and all) of these tribal-inspired pieces i hunted down to add depth to my wardrobe! (i think the dannijo necklace would look AMAZing paired with a white tank and jeans!)

    • thanks for the comment januarysublime, i knooooow i’m in love w/ proenza bags and dannijo jewelry!!
