tribal treats

editorial inspiration: “mix and match” photographed by rafaela proll for 1st magazine, april 2011, image source – fashiongonerogue.com, product photos from their respective linked websites. 1. dannijo “kale” necklace, 2. proenza schouler patterned bouclé-tweed dress, 3. alexander wang zip-detailed square-frame acetate sunglasses, 4. prada intense deluxe eau de parfum, 5. dries van noten vintage effect bracelet, 6. proenza schouler PS11 textured-leather clutch, 7. thakoon huarache woven sandal.

i had never been a fan of tribal prints until this season. i feel as though they are being used in such chic designs, designs that every woman would want to wear and feel fresh and current.  the tribal-inspired jewelry is heavy, but not overbearing and the accessories have a subtle tribal texture that adds dimension, but doesn’t overwhelm the overall look of the outfit! i’d love to have any (and all) of these tribal-inspired pieces i hunted down to add depth to my wardrobe! (i think the dannijo necklace would look AMAZing paired with a white tank and jeans!)
