vintage family photo

another great photo that was in my grandad’s photo album, was this photo of my great grandfather on the ferry in 1944. i love the full dress suit and hat that he wore, (and is wearing in most photographs) complete with pocket square. mom says he used to take them down to the beach at english bay wearing suits and hats.  ryan and i are re-watching seasons of Mad Men at the moment and i love how put together the men and women were, even in their day-to-day lives… sometimes i feel as though i was born in the wrong era…
